WEDNESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY
After having to cancel last Wednesday because of the weather, we are glad to be back together this week! We will continue our study through Proverbs with Proverbs 3:9–10. We are looking forward to opening God’s Word, enjoying Christian fellowship, and spending the evening together. Make plans to join us this Wednesday—we will be glad to see you!

GOD CAN USE WHAT WE WOULD NEVER CHOOSE
|
In 1967, seventeen-year-old Joni Eareckson Tada broke her neck in a diving accident and became a quadriplegic. She struggled with fear and depression as she faced a life she had never imagined. Yet God did not abandon her. He strengthened her faith and eventually used her suffering to begin Joni and Friends, a Christian ministry that has brought the hope of the gospel and practical help to people with disabilities around the world.
|
Most of us face circumstances we would never have chosen. We may live with illness, experience disappointment, deal with family problems or financial pressure, or watch our plans fall apart. Joni’s life reminds us that hardship does not place us beyond God’s care or prevent Him from using us. We may not yet understand what God is doing, but we can trust Him, obey Him today, and know that He can accomplish His purposes even through the hardest circumstances of our lives.
May God encourage you today to trust Him with your disability, disappointments, and discouraging circumstances. May today be the day you find joy and peace in God's grace.
