What if wisdom functioned like your own personal security detail?
|

This Wednesday we will continue our study through Proverbs by examining Solomon’s description of wisdom as God’s protection detail for His image bearers. Just as the Secret Service works behind the scenes to identify threats, assess dangers, and protect those under their care, Solomon teaches that wisdom protects us from influences that threaten our ability to reflect God’s character.

During our study, you will become part of the investigation team. We will examine two threat reports from Proverbs 2 and conduct a complete threat assessment. First, we will investigate the evil man and analyze his character, methods, and influence. Then we will examine the strange woman and evaluate how she seeks to persuade others away from God’s design.
|
|
Working through Solomon’s intelligence reports, we will identify the tactics these threats use, determine the kingdom they represent, and develop Wisdom’s Protection Protocol for recognizing and responding to their influence.
|
|
If you enjoy studying Scripture in a practical and engaging way, this lesson will give you an opportunity to step into the role of an investigator, analyze the evidence Solomon provides, and discover how God’s wisdom protects His people every day.

Sunday School Update
Our Sunday School class is currently working through the series Establishing a Prayer Legacy. In our first two lessons, we have examined the first two stages of a prayer legacy: Initiation and Influence.
|
In Lesson 1, we learned how Jesus exposed His disciples to His prayer life. His consistent pattern of prayer became visible to those around Him and encouraged them to seek a deeper prayer life themselves. The challenge was simple: let others know that prayer is part of your life.
|
In Lesson 2, we moved from observation to participation. We studied how Jesus invited others into His prayer life and how prayer becomes influential when we pray with people and invite them to pray with us. Prayer moves from being something people know about us to something they experience alongside us.
|
|
